Mark Wenzel is a seasoned financial advisor with a diverse background spanning investment research, stockbroking, corporate finance, and financial planning. His career began at Bell Potter, where he honed his skills in business valuation and identifying high-quality investment opportunities, skills that remain central to his approach today.

Mark’s journey progressed from research to private client advisory at Bell Potter, where his commitment to continuous learning led him into financial planning. In 2014, he founded EON Financial Group, growing it successfully over five years before selling to The Hopkins Group, where he served as Head of the Investment Committee.
Now at Suntax, Mark brings deep expertise and strategic insight to help build a forward-thinking investment and advice business. His comprehensive understanding of financial markets and client needs ensures every piece of advice is thoughtful, tailored, and impactful.
Outside of work, Mark is a passionate cook, especially when it comes to crafting artisan bread and pizza. He enjoys golf, cheering on the Collingwood Football Club, and spending quality time with friends and family. His two children keep him grounded and youthful, adding joy and perspective to his life.
Sharon has four years of experience in financial planning, working behind the scenes in support roles. Sharon has completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Financial Planning, and is now working as a professional year adviser under the supervision of Mark Wenzel while she makes the transition to becoming an authorised financial planner.
Outside of the office, Sharon enjoys arts and crafts. She also loves musical theatre and can often be found enjoying the show with a gin cocktail in hand. Sharon loves to escape with a camping trip, and her favourite conversations happen late at night around a campfire with family and friends.
Mark has been building relationships for Suntax for over 36 years. As an FCPA he has helped many individuals navigate the process of starting their own business through to planning for their retirement. Mark enjoys helping guide clients structures in retirement to set them up for the most tax effective retirement possible.
Away from the office Mark loves spending time with his two wonderful daughters, watching the footy, travelling, socialising with friends, and running the odd marathon (although he swears those days are over).
Daniel is an accredited FCPA tax accountant and the Chief Executive Officer of Suntax.
An unashamed lover of innovation and technology goes hand in hand with his passion for enabling his clients to achieve their personal goals. Daniel takes the time to explain complex matters without the confusing jargon to ultimately deliver peace of mind to his clients.

Outside of work, Daniel is a passionate family man and sports tragic. On the weekends he spends his time out on his bike, playing tennis, or going to the footy with his family to support the mighty Western Bulldogs!
With over 20 years in public practice, Brent has built his career on genuine relationships and practical advice. As a Director at Suntax, he brings a broad understanding of his clients need and is able to relate in a down-to-earth way that clients value and trust.
Brent finds the greatest satisfaction in working closely with clients on advisory and strategic planning, helping them make confident decisions for their businesses and their families. He also values the strong relationships formed within the Suntax team and with the firm’s strategic partners, believing that collaboration and trust are the keys to lasting success.
Outside of work, Brent’s number one priority is family. He enjoys staying fit and healthy, travelling to new places, and spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes.
